Director Krish, known for his unique movies like Gamyam, Vedam, Krishna Vande Jagadgurum, Gautamputra Satakarni, etc had made his Bollywood debut a few years back, with the Akshay Kumar - Kareena Kapoor - Shruti Haasan starrer Gabbar is back, the remake of Tamil flick Ramana.
The director had been directing his second Bollywood flick, Manikarnika The Queen of Jhansi, the historical movie on Rani Laxmi Bai of Jhansi, starring powerhouse performer Kangana Ranaut, for more than a year now, and recently he had started filming his next Telugu movie NTR with Balakrishna as well.
Now, post extensive shooting schedules and reshoots, now Manikarnika is all set to release worldwide on January 25, 2019, for the Republic Day weekend, and will clash with Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30, Emraan Hashmi starrer Cheat India, and Nawzuddin Siddiqui starrer Thackarey.
