Tamil beauty Megha Akash was supposed to debut in Balaji Tharaneetharan Directorial Oru Pakka Kathai and also was starring in Gautham Vasudev Menon Directorial Dhanush starrer Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta, both of which are yet to be released.
On the other hand even as she was playing homely girl Next door roles in Tamil, with none of them releasing, she had jumped to Telugu where she got two releases Lie and Chal Mohan Ranga both being flops but noted for her uninhibited and unlimited glamour.
Now the actress was roped in for Simbu aka STR starrer Tamil remake of Tollywood blockbuster Attarintiki Daaredhi directed by Sundar.C and it was initially said she's playing the lead role played by Samantha in original. However, it has been revealed that she's playing Pranitha's role and Catherine Teresa might be playing Samantha's role.
