Young rising hero of Kollywood Siva Karthikeyan was last seen on silver screens in his third collaboration with his Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajnimurugan director Ponram's third flick Seemaraja, also starring Samantha, Simran, and Soori, which bombed despite a huge opening.
However, he returned on screens earlier in an all-new avatar of a producer, as his maiden production venture Kanaa, bankrolled in his Siva Karthikeyan productions, directed by Arunraja Kamaraj and starring Aishwarya Rajesh and Sathyaraj.
The cricket based movie also has Siva himself in a cameo playing a character named Nelson Dilipkumar, and it is the name of the director of Nayanthara starer Kolamaavu Kokila. Siva and Nelson had been a friend since their Vijay TV working days, and Siva had written a song in Kolamavu Kokila as well, and now the buzz is that Nelson will soon direct Siva Karthikeyan in a movie.
