Superstar Rajnikanth was seen last in karthik Subbaraj directorial Petta and is now shooting for his 167th movie Darbar, helmed by plagiarism expert AR Murugadoss. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, the movie is shot in mumbai.
Recently a photo of Superstar Rajnikanth and director Vignesh Shivn clicked on the sets of Darbar became viral, with fans of Superstar speculating that he will direct a comedy movie. Reports claimed that nayantara begged Rajini to give a chance to her boyfriend.
It must be noted that director KS Ravikumar met Rajnikanth, and it was said he might direct any of future Rajnikanth movies, and with this meeting with Vignesh Shivn he's also expected to direct one movie with Superstar. But, there are also reports that Rajini warned nayantara not to drag her boyfriend in professional cases.
