After his comeback blockbuster Khaidi No 150, Megastar chiranjeevi has returned with his dream project, the historical Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, the biopic of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narsimha Reddy. Sye Raa starts before the war of independence in 1857. Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy (Chiranjeevi) is a Telugu Palegar living with his wife Siddhamma (Nayanthara), and he is angered by the activities of the British East india company who enter for business but later exploit the Indian resources and plan to loot them to their country. Narasimha Reddy revolts, teaming with 61 Palegars including Veera Reddy (Jagapathi Babu), Avuku Raju Kicha Sudeep), rajaPandi (Vijay Sethupathi) and is guided by his Guru Gosayi Venkanna (Amitabh Bachchan) and whether Narasimha Reddy succeeded is what the movie is all about.
