Ulaga kamal haasan and magnum opus maker shankar have teamed up for the sequel to their 1996 blockbuster indian, titled as indian 2 and the movie launched in january, had been facing delays due to elections and other commitments and now has resumed shooting.
Earlier, milky babe kajal aggarwal was announced as the female lead, and then the team got many new additions to the cast such as delhi Ganesh, siddharth, rakul preet singh, aishwarya Rajesh, vivek but now one of them has exited the project unexpectedly.
The latest revelation is that dusky babe aishwarya Rajesh, who had been signed to play an important role in indian 2 has quit the project as she has other movies with clashing dates indian 2 will have music scored by anirudh and is bankrolled by Lyca Productions. The team recently wrapped up the first schedule of shooting at bhopal and this schedule featured rakul Preet and she herself confirmed the news with a selfie from the spot. The actress also updated her instagram stories. siddharth is yet to join the crew from the next schedule.
